LIFECARE HEALTH CARE FUND Established in 2004 to provide financial support for charitable and educational activities related to health care and senior living, LifeCare Health Care Fund is a permanent financial resource which provides grants to help healthcare projects become a reality for the people of our community. Since that time, thousands of dollars have been raised through donations, memorials and our "Partners in Health" event to fund various community and hospital projects. To date, over $25,000 has been given back to LifeCare Medical Center and other health related projects in the form of grants from the LifeCare Health Care Fund. LifeCare Health Care Funds: LifeCare Medical Center Health Care General Endowment Fund Provides financial support for health care and senior living related charitable and educational activities, projects, or services benefiting residents and visitors to the LifeCare Medical Center service area. Maggi Adams Medical Equipment Fund Provides financial support for medical equipment or other related purposes at Life Care Medical Center and Manors. Life Care Medical Center Hospice Fund Supports the Life Care Medical Center Hospice program. LifeCare Roseau Manor Fund Supports programs, projects and activities, and facilities related to LifeCare Roseau Manor and its mission. LifeCare Greenbush Manor Fund Supports programs, projects and activities, and facilities related to LifeCare Greenbush Manor and its mission. Eagles Auxiliary Diabetes & Dialysis Fund Provides financial support for programs and services offered by LifeCare Medical Center that address the diabetic and dialysis needs in the service area. Parish Nursing Fund Provides financial support for education, staffing, equipment and activities related to parish nurse programs within LifeCare communities. LifeCare Health Care Fund operates as a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit. This makes your contribution deductible for tax purposes Memorial/Honorary Gifts Sometimes words are not enough to express your sentiments, we invite you to make a tribute through a memorial or honorarium gift. Whether it is sorrow at the loss of a loved one, joy at the birth of a new life or appreciation for the care received at LifeCare Medical Center, commemorative gifts silently speak volumes on your behalf. To make giving easy for you, simply request a memorial/honorary envelope or pick one up at LifeCare Medical Center in the Neighborhood Nook gift shop, LifeCare Roseau Manor or LifeCare Greenbush Manor or at area funeral homes. When applicable, a complimentary sympathy card is available for use as well. Memorials/Honorariums can be given through gifts of Cash, Check or Credit Card transactions. Notification of Memorials or Honorariums will be sent at your request (no amount is mentioned). Advisory Committee LifeCare Health Care Fund is led by a local Advisory Committee. Advisory Committee members are selected for their knowledge and commitment to the community, diverse backgrounds and affiliations, and willingness to work hard to build the Health Care Fund.
